John 10:27

‪"My sheep hear My voice." John 10:27

Being on speaking terms with God, includes praying in the name of Jesus, and listening for the sound of His voice. Talking to God, without listening to Jesus, isn't praying. It is lecturing.

In the School of Prayer, learners don't skip class. They lean into Jesus & listen to Him.

"Lord, teach us to pray." Luke 11:1

James 1:20

“For the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.” James 1:20‬

‪Being enraged by a crisis, without being engaged in prayer, only produces more pollution, not a solution.‬

‪"The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:16‬

Sunday Morning Prayer

Father, thank You for Christ Jesus, Who is seated by You & intercedes for me. Thank you for His Spirit who empowers me for courageous living. My life, wife, family, friends, calling & country are all in Your hands. In the name of Jesus, I pray, turn the impossible into the HIMpossible. AMEN!‬

Dana and I have seen The Father do this time & again. There is no greater joy in the world than ANSWERED prayer. When you pray, REJOICE!

1 Thessalonians 5:17

"Pray without ceasing." I Thess. 5:17

Saul's life-changing encounter with Jesus on the Road to Damascus was more than a name change. He never got over Jesus calling him by name. Praying without ceasing, Paul perpetuated what Jesus initiated. You can too.

Philippians 3:1

‪ "Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord." Philippians 3:1 ‬

‪Your panic disrespects the Risen Christ who conquered sin, Hell & the grave. When you pray, you respect Him. When warriors run out of ammo, they reload. When you run out of joy, REJOICE. PRAY!

Your Champion

‪Prayer reminds you that the battle is the Lord's, not yours. Your Champion has won the victory & He shares it with those who stand with Him. Your prayer may begin in desperation, but if you focus on The Champion, & not your crisis, it ends in celebration.

Luke 24:29

‪ "Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord." Philippians 3:1 ‬

‪Your panic disrespects the Risen Christ who conquered sin, Hell & the grave. When you pray, you respect Him. When warriors run out of ammo, they reload.

‪Prayer turns Satan's opposition into God's navigation. The prayerless slam into icebergs & then rearrange deck chairs. The prayerful call out to God & sail into the wind.

"Prayer is how we set our sails to catch the wind of Heaven."
-G. Campbell Morgan

When you run out of joy, REJOICE. PRAY!

John 17:4

"I glorified You on earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do." John 17:4

Jesus prayed to honor His Father. From dying for you to praying for you, He continues what His Spirit began in you. Listen. Jesus is still praying for you.

Philippians 2:14

The Seven Lost Words of The Church: "DO ALL THINGS WITHOUT GRUMBLING OR DISPUTING." Philippians 2:14

When you pray with one another, Jesus releases your white-knuckled grip on your personal preferences, ancient prejudices, and outspoken opinions. So, we PRAY!

"Inquire of the Lord"

“And David inquired of The Lord," is a phrase often repeated in 1 & 2 Samuel. When David prayed, he received God's direction & protection. When he wandered, he received His correction.

When you pray, ask God for His direction, protection & correction.
